ChatGPT celebrates Valentine’s Day

[This blog post was written by ChatGPT as a bit of a Valentine’s Day gift for the MER Community, and as a teaser for some of the IG issues raised at the end by MER’s Mike Salvarezza.]

ChatGPT Query: What are the five most important things to include in a hit love song?

Lyrics: The lyrics of a love song should tell a story and convey the emotions of the song. They should be relatable, authentic, and touch the listener's heart.

Production: Good production is essential to making a love song sound professional and polished. The right instruments and sound effects can enhance the emotional impact of the song.

ChatGPT Query: What are the five best love songs of all time?

The "best" love songs of all time are subjective and can vary based on personal taste and cultural background. However, here are five love songs that are often considered classics and have stood the test of time:

"Endless Love" by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie

"Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers

"I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston

"Something" by The Beatles

"L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole

It's worth noting that this is just a small sampling of some of the most beloved love songs and there are countless other songs that could be considered.

Per Mike Salvarezza…

I think the most interesting technological development happening right now is the rise of the AI Algorithms based on the OpenAI GPT-3 language models. ChapGPT is getting the most press, but there are others and it is the underlying technology that is really enabling these applications.

Besides being extremely timely and contemporary as a topic, I believe this topic has huge implications for the IG world:

  • What exactly is this technology? (for the layman, not the technologist)

  • What are the limits of this technology? As social media, and media in general, swirls with reports of the capabilities, what is true and what is hyperbole?

  • What is the future of this technology? (e.g., is all forms of writing and authorship going to become obsolete in the face of this?)

  • How do we distinguish what is human generated vs. AI generated? Does it matter?

  • Can it be hacked and spoofed and used to create “bad” content? (bad defined very broadly)

  • What does this mean for RIM? For IG? Can it help solve our problems? Will it create others?

  • What are the legal ramifications of documents not written by people? What will the future look like on the legal front?

And EVEN MORE about conversational AI!

The image I used for this post was created by the DALL-E 2 AI engine, a new AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language.

My prompt was, “Create a photo on a black background featuring both hearts and file folders.”
